DESCRIPTION

A port of the Xbox original, this tennis game for the PS2 offers a total of 16 athletes to choose from as players attempt to attain a number one ranking on the professional circuit. The option also exists for players to create their own tennis stars, even going so far as to inject them with traits such as talking to their racket after aces, yelling at line judges for poor calls, or slamming the racket down in disgust after a missed shot. Athletes can also play to the crowd, becoming a fan favorite no matter which court is selected — hard court, clay, or grass. Players will be able to perform slices, lobs, spins, and drops while returning the ball as they compete against friends or the computer in a variety of game modes. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
