Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear-Urban Operations is a mission pack for the original Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear game. The game allows you to take on the role of a task force that is trying to stop terrorists from harming you and the rest of the world.
There are five new places to play in this mission pack, and each has six game types. There is an Assault, Recon, Hostage Rescue, Defend, Lone Wolf and Terrorist Hunt.
The Assault is similar to a standard mission. Now, however, there are no hostages to bog down the mission. You simply have to find the terrorists and kill them.
The Recon missions are the most difficult to play. You have to plant a surveillance device somewhere on the map and then get all operatives to the Extraction Zone. You must, however, not allow the terrorists to know where you are. This is similar to Metal Gear Solid.
Hostage Rescue is the standard mission. There are hostages that are being held somewhere on the map, and you must put together a team to rescue them.
Defend is a new type of mission. In this you select a single operative and defend an area and prevent terrorists from getting to and activating a switch near the Insertion Zone.
Lone Wolf missions are geared to survival. You control one operative and must get from the Insertion Zone to the Extraction Zone without being killed.
Terrorist Hunt, the final mission type, has you create a team of operatives, enter a location, and neutralize all terrorists on the map.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear-Urban Operations also features eight new multiplayer spaces, new custom missions that let you choose game type, map and difficulty and new weapons.
There are also five classic levels from the original game. All levels are playable in any of the six variations described above. ~ Mark Kanarick, All Game Guide
