DESCRIPTION

Tom Clancy's modern-day shooter series makes its first appearance on Wii in this adaptation of the hit title on Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation 3. Due to the obvious differences in technology, the Wii version of Advanced Warfighter 2 features several notable changes. Instead of leading a four-man squad from a third-person viewpoint, for instance, players explore the game's mountainous regions, deserts, and rural areas from a first-person perspective. The content is also more action-oriented, with players controlling one soldier in a series of missions that primarily involve gunning down hostiles in well-guarded areas. The custom interface takes advantage of Nintendo's two-handed Zapper peripheral, allowing players to quickly take out terrorist threats by pointing and shooting the Wii weapon directly at the screen. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
