When your streets are overrun with two large teams of tanks, you know your city has seen better days. Such is the case in Tokyo with Tokyo Wars. Taking control of either the green or white tank squadrons, you've got one goal in mind — destroy the other guys.
Your default view (though adjustable) is from the driver's seat of one of the tanks. It's up to you to blast away without getting obliterated yourself. You'll be responsible for destroying the other squadron of tanks. Be careful, though, for you might destroy your own teammates as they try to help you out. If your tank should be destroyed, you will immediately be put in command of another one.
The game has two seats and two screens so that you and a friend can challenge each other at the same time, choosing either the Bay Area or Downtown as your fighting location. At ear level is a speaker that feature sound effects and a voice telling you the location of enemy tanks and how much damage you've sustained. The game ends when time runs out or one team is destroyed, whichever happens first. ~ Christopher Michael Baker, All Game Guide
