DESCRIPTION

Throne of Darkness players take on the role of a brave Samurai warrior in an ancient, mystical Japanese setting. Demons and monsters straight from Japanese mythology await and attack the noble hero at every turn. The isometric view and detailed 2D backgrounds, along with the fantasy settings and point-and-click interface, are reminiscent of games like Diablo II and Baldur's Gate and the founding members of the development team at Click Entertainment also worked on the original Diablo.

In the single-player game, players control up to seven Samurai warriors at once, each with different abilities and a unique special skill. A system of scripted "plays" helps streamline the squad combat by simplifying commands for the most common formations and attack strategies.
