Appropriately developed by SpinTop Games, The Wizard's Pen puts a twist on traditional hidden object games by asking players to draw objects rather than find them. It seems that The Wizard has gone missing, leaving behind only his mysteriously blank workbook and magic pen. Clicking on a blank workbook page makes an object begin to materialize, and gamers must then type in their guesses as quickly as possible to earn the most points. Mosaic puzzles break up the action every few pages, and players are presented with a standard hidden object puzzle after each chapter, but instead of searching for hidden items, gamers look for objects that are missing. Potions offer hints and special abilities, such as anagrams or silhouettes of the missing items, and completing the main adventure unlocks eight mini-games that can be played at any time. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
