In The Simpsons: Bart vs. the World, you control Bart as he confronts Burns' malicious efforts in several locations on the globe including China, the North Pole, Egypt, and Hollywood. Use such Bart trademarks as his slingshot and skateboard to defeat Burns' minions. Along the way, pick up cheap Krusty items for points and — after you have collected 15 of them — extra men. Power-ups will enable you temporarily invincibility or even to become Bartman. Side games and bonus levels such as Simpsons Trivia, Slot Machines, Moe's Tavern, and Find the Bats exist as well.

Mr. Burns will sometimes go to great lengths to get what he wants. This time he wants something simple — the Simpson family out of commission forever. Ever since Homer started working at Burns' power plant, the plant has lost money. By sending his family on a trip around the world to pick up cheap Krusty treasure items he can put the family in mortal danger, wiping them off the face of the Earth!
