An isometric action RPG in the style of PC games like Diablo or Divine Divinity, the N-Gage version of Roots: Gate of Chaos serves as a prequel to the console and computer editions of the title. Set in a realm of fantasy, the game has players taking the role of a brave hero who must conquer the invading forces of an evil, fallen deity. The hero can explore and battle through more than 20 over-world areas and 30 underground dungeons and caves. Cooperative multiplayer gaming for up to four is supported through the handheld's built-in wireless technology, and special in-game areas are available for player-versus-player competition. ~ T.J.
