DESCRIPTION

Based on Marvel Comics' excessively violent vigilante, The Punisher puts you in the title role. As Frank Castle you are a former Marine whose family was killed by the mob. Frustrated with the system, you went underground, donning a black costume with a giant skull sewn in to the chest area. Armed with a machine gun, you are now ready to punish all criminals.

As The Punisher you must guide a gun sight around the screen in five different missions, shooting scores of bad guys (and some of their vehicles) while trying to avoid harming innocent citizens. Along the way you can pick up grenades, a rocket launcher, additional ammunition, and a kevlar vest, which protects you against half of the damage to your life bar that you would normally receive from enemy fire. The action takes place at the mall, at the docks, at the airport, in the jungle, and in some caves. Famous web-slinger Spider-Man makes a cameo. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
