The cubicle crew at Dunder Mifflin are subjects of their first video game, courtesy of casual games publisher MumboJumbo. Based on the NBC version of the show, The Office on PC has players interacting with Michael Scott, Dwight Schrute, Pam Beesly, and the rest of the gang in a lighthearted task-oriented title designed in the spirit of Diner Dash, Cake Mania, and similar offerings. Players control the affable Jim Halpert across five stages and 40 levels of paperwork-filing action.
The goal in each level is to quickly fulfill requests for folders, files, and printouts by delivering documents to specific desks. A computer-controlled Dwight, Ryan, Andy, or Michael will try to do the same, but players can slow them down with random gags. After filling a "prank-o-meter," players can activate piñatas, boom boxes, and other distractions to temporarily neutralize the competition. While the environment remains the same throughout, each stage offers seasonal decorations for a more festive atmosphere. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
