DESCRIPTION

The Ocean Hunter is an underwater first-person shooter where you — alone or with a same-screen partner — strap on some scuba gear to rescue stranded members of your marine research team. to rescue your teammates in each level, you must blast away at sharks, barracuda, sea snakes, and other aquatic vermin before making an assault on an immense sea monster.

You are armed with a five-shot gun mounted on a sub-surface watercraft. The gun reloads automatically, and your ammunition supply is inexhaustible. Power-ups are also scattered throughout each level to give players more powerful guns. Attacks from nasty underwater creatures or the level-ending monsters will deplete your life force points. Accidentally shooting a member of the research team will also deplete life force points. Players begin each game with five life force points. The Ocean Hunter features mild, life-like violence, mostly against sea creatures. ~ Anthony Baize, All Game Guide
