DESCRIPTION

Featuring dozens of battle scenarios based on those found in the movie trilogy, as well as a new battle system, handheld warfare pitting the good vs. the bad (and ugly) comes to the GBA in The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age. From the beginning, players will have a difficult choice to make: they must take a side, deciding between the Fellowship, with its quest to save Middle-earth, and Sauron, with his quest for complete control and ultimate darkness. The game features a tactics-based combat system that fosters military strategy, and turn-based battle designed to allow players to command dozens of units and define the rules of engagement. Over 30 battles from the movie trilogy are included, such as the Siege of Minas Tirith, and the Fall of Osgiliath.
