The final chapter in New Line Cinema's epic film trilogy can now be enjoyed on mobile devices with The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. The game is a side-scrolling action title starring the seven remaining members of the Fellowship. Players will hack, slash, and fire projectiles across eight Middle-earth locales, each filled with orcs, trolls, and such boss characters as Shelob, Gollum, and the King of the Dead. The perilous journey also involves jumping, climbing, and destroying objects such as exploding barrels while avoiding deadly traps along the way. Helpful items found within each level include health-replenishing Kingsfoil, treasure, power potions, extra lives, and more.
