DESCRIPTION

Nintendo's acclaimed action role-playing series makes its Nintendo 64 debut as a 3D adventure that transforms the land of Hyrule into a dynamic, fully interactive world. Ocarina of Time is the first Zelda game to be played from a third-person perspective set behind the elfin character of Link, necessitating a new control scheme. Link can now lock onto his targets, allowing him the freedom to move around the environment while the camera remains trained on the selected enemy. Jumping is automatic when Link approaches a ledge, and weapons or items can be freely assigned to the controller's yellow buttons for quick access.

The storyline follows Link's maturation from a young boy to a determined adult, as he journeys across the land to help those in need and to fulfill his destiny. Link will be able to acquire several items from the famed series, including a bow, which switches the perspective to a first-person view, bombs, a boomerang, and the hookshot. New to the game is the titular ocarina, a musical instrument whose songs can transport Link to different locations, change day into night, and more. He will even be able to summon a horse named Epona to make traveling the expansive world easier.

As Link explores his world, he will encounter numerous quests to complete on behalf of the local residents and participate in an assortment of mini-games, from horse racing to fishing. Since the developers were intent on retaining the same feel as in previous Zelda games, players will be required to solve various environment-based puzzles while delving into dank dungeons, whether it's lighting torches or shooting targets with the bow. Each dungeon culminates in a cinematic boss encounter until Link eventually confronts his (and Zelda's) nemesis, the evil Ganon. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide

“Bummer, the speaker on my launch Wii-mote went out in less than a week after I purchased my launch Wii, but this is uber fucked. If you want to play your gamecube games, those wireless wavebird controllers are decent, but it wouldn't serve the same broad purpose as just getting another remote.”

“hmm--well, the main issue is getting to the disc channel once the disc is inside the machine.

I mean, I do have GameCube controllers... and wireless is not a requirement here...

Just something that allows me to select menu options on my Wii.”

“@CrazyPhish @EarthboundX , yeah--it seems during times of great stress, electronics seem to start acting like they have been hit with an EMP bomb.

Or they have been hit with enough EMR interference to cause issues in their running.

I mean, looking at some of the weird crap that happens around me, looks like, if I were an X-Men my abilities would be:
* Electrokinesis
* Empathy
* Regeneration (on levels of various members of the Weapon X project)
* Night vision

That last bit pointing to the Weapon X project just creeps me the fvck out, as I live in the province that the fiction project takes place in. The odd thing is: I know a few other people in this province that have similar abilities to deal with injury.

But yeah--I would probably think I was nuts--if electronics did not end up acting like they were EMP'd every now and then. Also the fact that i can easily short out current reading equipment

Now, I merely hold this idea from my "Lack of Nirvana Fallacy Logical Fallacy". Once somebody can give a much more logical and reasonable explanation, I will probably latch onto that, like starving flesh eating weasels on some unsuspecting person's face.”
