EA's Godfather video game series makes its PlayStation 3 debut with the release of the "Don's Edition," an enhanced remake of the Xbox 360 version with new gameplay features and missions to undertake. As in previous installments, the open-ended game involves rising through the ranks of the Corleone family (of movie and book fame) by solving problems and earning their respect through acts of violence and/or diplomacy. Mob hits, bank heists, extortion attempts, and even drive-by shootings are available to opportunistic players looking to get ahead at all costs.

The Don's Edition includes content from "The Corleone Expansion Pack" and features two new roles: enforcer and operator, both of which will grant players new abilities and perks, such as finding out which cops are dirty after talking to key informants. Players can also attack two additional compounds controlled by rival crime families, execute five new contract hits, or even call in their own "hit squads" when the odds are not in their favor. Also new are shipyard and railyard transportation hubs, offering easier navigation through New York City, and support for the motion-sensing Sixaxis controller for more intuitive ways to fight. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
