Glu's The Dark Knight: The Mobile Game is based directly on Warner Bros.' 2008 feature film. As Batman, players can use a grappling hook to swing across gaps, and can take out enemies with tricky gadgets and well honed martial arts skills. It's not all about combat, however, as the Dark Knight must also make use of the darkness, in tense, stealth scenarios. The game is viewed from a side-scrolling, third-person perspective, from a medium distance. Batman appears about a quarter of the screen tall, allowing for more detail in his appearance and animations but still leaving room to view the action that comes at him from all sides. Each stage of the game brings the brooding hero closer to a confrontation with his greatest enemy, the Joker. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide
