DESCRIPTION

The evil SkullMaster has hidden eight parts of a powerful weapon in various locations around the planet. Simple enough, right? Well, there is one small catch: they are scattered across five different time periods! Now you, as Mighty Max, must travel back in time to find these pieces before it's too late.

Armed with only a ping-pong gun and trusty red cap, Mighty Max must find the hidden weapons and place them within a portal leading back to present-day Earth. The five worlds he will need to explore are: Volcano, Space Station, Inca Ruins, Water, and Jungle. Once Mighty Max transports the pieces to the portal, he will be able to exit the level and continue his adventure.

First, you'll need to use various tools found on each stage, such as magnets, balloons, rafts, and seesaws to get them to the portal. Working against Mighty Max are enemies loyal to the SkullMaster, including sharks and Rock Monsters, not to mention a time limit.

Fortunately, Mighty Max can find items to help him: power pills to improve his running and jumping; freezers that temporarily stop enemies; hearts for extra lives; megaphones to call on Viking friend Norman to protect him from enemies; wishbones to call wise owl Virgil to offer clues on completing a level; and the elusive diamond, which adds 3,000,000 points to your score and gives you three extra lives!

The game also features a two-player mode (on a horizontally-split screen) as you both race to locate and assemble the weapon's parts. An option to set the difficulty level is available as well, giving players a chance to learn the game at their own pace.
