DESCRIPTION

Based on Batman: The Animated Series, The Adventures of Batman & Robin eschews the more common run-jump-attack formula of past games starring the Dark Knight. Instead, Sega CD owners are given an overly hard racing game where the object is to drive the Batmobile through the city streets, tracking such villains as Poison Ivy, the Riddler, and the Joker, firing at and dodging their minions along the way. In the game's final level, players fly the Batwing in pursuit of gangster Rupert Thorne. Bat-fans may want to pick up the game because of the 15 minutes or so worth of animated cut-scenes, which were brought to life by animators from the television series. ~ Christopher Michael Baker, All Game Guide
