Tetris Plus takes the original Tetris and adds a few new features, including a puzzle mode.

The object of the original Tetris was to arrange falling bricks into straight lines by twisting and turning them into place. In the puzzle mode, you guide a small explorer through a series of caves by solving Tetris puzzles. A Tetris puzzle is an arrangement of pre-placed bricks that must be cleared. You have a limited time to complete each level since a wall of spikes is descending from the ceiling. The deeper the adventurer goes, the more difficult the puzzles get and the quicker the falling spikes come down.

You can also create and save your own Tetris puzzles by using the edit mode. The Vs. option allows you to link up with another Game Boy for two-player action.
