DESCRIPTION

Konami's 1991 arcade game starring four "heroes in a half-shell" receives a revamped presentation with this update for Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. While the beat-'em-up action is still viewed from a side-scrolling perspective, the characters and backgrounds are rendered in 3D. Choose from masked martial artists Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael, and Leonardo while battling members of evil Shredder's Foot Clan throughout different time periods. Knock some heads in New York City, punch your way across a pirate ship, go sewer surfing, and damage some dinosaurs in eight stages of play. Controls consist of one button to attack and one to jump, with a character-specific special move initiated by tapping both buttons simultaneously. “Very fun game. I've always loved the TMNT. I like the fact that each turtle has his own attributes which make the game harder or easier. In the later stages the game does get a tad bit hard, but it's still great fun.”
