DESCRIPTION
The heroes in a half-shell return for more Foot Clan clobbering action in this side-scrolling sequel to 1990's Fall of the Foot Clan. The four turtles embark on a quest to rescue plucky reporter April from the evil Shredder and his maniacal minions. The turtles can perform jump and sliding kicks, or attack enemies with their signature weapons. Take advantage of each hero's varying speed and attack range before starting each level. The object is to safely make it from the beginning of the stage to the end, pummeling an assortment of enemies along the way.
The action is divided into six acts, each spanning multiple stages. If you lose a turtle during a stage, you'll have a chance to reclaim it in a rescue game that involves battling a robotic prison guard to free one of the captured brothers. Each hit you absorb during this sequence will cause you to lose time. Complete a level without losing a turtle, and you'll instead play a bonus round that has you grabbing as many pizzas as possible before time expires. Back From the Sewers also includes a choice of three difficulty levels before each game. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
