DESCRIPTION

Taskmaker is a reworking of a game that originally came out in 1989, but redone in brilliant color and with expanded locations.

Essentially, it is a time of great unrest amongst the people of the kingdom. Since the death of the King, the land has been under a blight. You have decided to remedy that and have apprenticed yourself to a man called "Taskmaker". He will guide you to do tasks that will make the land stronger.

Along the way, you will grow in power and experience, and also in wealth, allowing you to buy or find items that are better able to protect you against the bigger (and nastier) creatures you will encounter.

With new, expanded dungeons and towns, Taskmaker is more than just a color version of the earlier game. It comes near to being a whole other game entirely.

This game is Shareware, downloadable from America On-line. Registration is necessary to play beyond the first three tasks and also gives you the latest version on Disk or CD-ROM plus the manual. ~ Lisa Karen Savignano, All Game Guide
