It is the future, and law and order is a thing of the past. A crime lord has taken control of five American cities — Chicago, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York City. You are one of two men who can salvage this situation — you are a member of the Task Force!

This Apple IIGS-specific title from Visual Concepts is similar to the game NARC — your character runs down city streets with heavy firearms, wasting anyone who stands in his path. From time to time, a helicopter will fly down from above, dropping grenades on your ATF agent. And keep an eye out for baddies who drop to the floor and start pelting you with bullets!

Task Force features six hot-and-heavy cities packed full of action, with three levels apiece, and you'll be hard-pressed to finish just one with your life intact! Remember to conserve bullets, as you'll have to rely on your fallen enemies to drop their ammo for your own consumption.
