DESCRIPTION

At the bottom of a 16-level dungeon lives a serpent that has been wreaking havock to the land. It is up to a party of four heroes — magicians, warriors, and thieves — to put a stop to the serpent and make life easier for everyone.

In Swords and Serpents, you control this party of warriors as they travel through the perils of the dungeon. On their adventure, they will encounter countless enemies, each of which wants nothing more than to put an end to their quest. As they defeat these enemies, gold and experience points are gained. With enough gold, you can buy that sword for your warrior you've had your eye on and that staff for your magician he's always wanted. With experience points, you will gain levels and become a stronger, more effective fighter. If one of your party members should fall or you just need some rejuvination, a trip to one of the three temples is probably in order. Once you've reached certain levels in the dungeon, you'll find "zoom tubes" that teleport you to places you have already been should you need to retreat. You'll need to map your progress until you've made it to the sixteenth level.
