DESCRIPTION

Sword of Aragon is a sword and sorcery fantasy war game that puts you in the role as son of the late Duke of Aladda, who was instrumental in the re-emergence of Aladda as a force in the empire. Now he wants you (as you discover in his will) to carry on his good work by expanding and subjugating the surrounding lands. Your ultimate goal is to become emperor of the Aragonian Empire in the city of Tetrada. Sword of Aragon is a multi-faceted strategic exercise in which you'll have to manage resources, coordinate military maneuvers/battles and effect defense of your territories. The game is divided into two main levels of action with the first focusing on social, political, economic and military aspects while the second deals with the tactical area of conquest and defense. There are five possible character types available at the outset from which to choose your leader (warrior, mage, ranger, priest or knight) with each having specific attributes and abilities. ~ Michael L.
