DESCRIPTION

This social strategy game is based on the 2001 "Australian Outback" second season of the wildly successful CBS television series Survivor. Tina, Colby, and the 14 other real-life Australian Outback contestants are featured, as well as the 16 contestants from the original "Pulau Tiga" season. Gamers have the option to play as any one of these actual contenders or to create their own character for the virtual 42-day competition. The gameplay and interface allow players to take on tribal responsibilities, form alliances, win immunity challenges, and vote at tribal council.

Player characters are further customized by choosing from ten different survival skills such as fishing, cooking, strength, or intelligence. Each tribe member also assumes different chores and responsibilities for the welfare of the group. As in the reality-based television show, all of these interrelated aspects have bearing on the end result and only the player who makes best use of his or her skills, abilities, and place in the social dynamic has a chance to be named the ultimate survivor when the tribe speaks for the final vote. ~ T.J.
