DESCRIPTION

There year is 1999 and blood and violence reign supreme on the boob tube. America's favorite game show is Smash T.V., and you (or you and a friend in simultaneous two-player action) are its biggest star. Armed with a machine gun, you must run for your life in a closed arena, blowing away baseball bat-wielding gangs, laser-firing orbs, exploding tin soldiers, and other killers bent on your destruction. Along the way you'll pick up prizes such as money and gold bricks — be careful, though, they may sitting on top of a hidden land mine.

In addition to your machine gun, you will find other weapons including grenade launchers, photon guns, and missile launchers. These weapons are temporary and can only be used one at a time. At the end of each of the four rounds of play, a boss awaits. The bosses names are Mutoid Man, Scarface, Cobra Head, and The Game Show Host With The Most. Regular machine gun fire won't work on them, so you must use your special firepower. Watch your step because every move you make is being broadcast for the viewing pleasure of the entire world.
