Super Slam Dunk is a professional-style basketball game without an NBA license for real teams and players. Instead, the title's 22 teams are identified by city name. Legendary star Magic Johnson offers on-screen advice and tips while broadcaster Chick Hearn voices the play-by-play commentary. The defining aspect of Super Slam Dunk is its visual approach. Instead of featuring a traditional horizontal display, the court is viewed from a perspective looking toward the basket. Changing possession will rotate the camera 360° until the basket is once again in the center of the screen.
