DESCRIPTION

Inspired by the NES game Super Dodge Ball and its "Kunio" characters (familiar to gamers who have played Double Dragon, Renegade, and River City Ransom), Super Dodgeball Brawlers expands on the classic schoolyard game of bombardment. Players can now unleash more than 100 special attacks, including the cactus attack, the panda shot, and the spear, or more violent gamers can simply pummel opponents with punches, kicks, and weapons. Over the course of a match a meter fills, allowing players to boost a teammate's status or unleash an "instant kill" with a flick of the touch screen. Create-a-character and create-a-team modes let gamers build the perfect dodge ball squad, and players can go head-to-head against a friend or take part in an eight-player street brawl. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
