DESCRIPTION

For reasons known only to Parker Brothers, Super Cobra for the Atari 5200 combines the firing of missiles and bombs into one button, setting this version apart from the arcade original. The bombs also drop at an accelerated pace and players can use rapid fire by holding down the button. This may make the action more exciting for some, but coin-op purists who love the methodical firing of the original are sure to scoff. Arcade buffs will also notice the enemies and obstacles are laid out differently, the colors aren't as bright, and the slippery controls can make navigating the narrow tunnels a frustrating experience. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
