Super Burnout gives you a chance to try racing a high-powered motorcycle in international competition. Four different play modes allow you to go head-to-head against a friend, race for a record time on an empty track, run a single race, or compete for the championship in an eight race circuit.
Select from one of seven bikes (six regular and one secret) each rated for grip, acceleration and maximum speed. You can choose to race in Japan, Hungary, Germany, France, Canada, Brazil, Australia or America. The tracks vary in style from twisty technical courses to milder high speed runs.
Driving controls include accelerator, brake, and clutch. An automatic transmission mode is also available. Game options include three levels of computer opponents and a variable number of laps.
During the game, each player sees a view of the track from a position directly behind their bike. On screen displays include an analog tachometer, track map, lap time, current speed, and your current position in the race. The fastest time and highest average speed for each track are stored in the cart's memory. ~ Joseph Scoleri III, All Game Guide
