DESCRIPTION

An excellent port of the 1978 arcade classic, Super Breakout for the Atari VCS contains all three variations of the original: Double Breakout, Cavity and Progressive. Gameplay is much the same, thanks to rotary paddle control, and the sound effects are actually more elaborate. In addition, the home package includes a Children's Version of the game as well as the original Breakout. However, the graphics have one noticeable downgrade — before being segmented by the bouncing ball, the rows of bricks appear as solid lines instead of individual rectangles. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
