DESCRIPTION
In Supa Catcha Troopa, you have been given an important mission: to capture the paratroopers after leaping from a helicopter. Because the troopers are jumping over the ocean with islands in the background, you'll have to steer a raft to the left and right sides of the screen.
Catching the falling paratroopers will add points to the overall total, but there are times when the troopers miss their mark and plummet into the ocean. If this should happen, you can lower a net into the water and have the soldier climb aboard. While this may sound simple, there are all kinds of hazards that must be avoided!
Hazards include man-eating sharks and pterodactyls that hover around the helicopter and raft. When a trooper falls into the ocean, you'll only have a brief time to save him; he'll either swim to a nearby island or be eaten by the shark. While catching the leaping troopers, the pterodactyl will swoop down and take men from the boat! Whenever a paratrooper is eaten or carried away, you'll lose a life. You are given six lives to complete the game.
In order to finish Supa Catcha Troopa, you'll have to progress through five levels of single-screen action. Levels become harder and harder as the game progresses. On the first level, a single paratrooper falls from the helicopter, while two leap on the second level. Additionally, the speed at which they fall increases as you advance. ~ Matthew House, All Game Guide
