DESCRIPTION

Street Fighter takes you to Japan, China, the U.S.A, Thailand and England. Why are you traveling the world? Because, of course, you are a martial arts expert named Ryu, and you want to test your fighting skills against combatants of different nationalities. Each nation represented has two fighters it considers the best of the best. You'll go up against Retsu, Geki, Joe, Mike, Birdie, Eagle, Lee, Gen, Adon and Sagat.

Each fight consists of a best of three rounds tournament with the victor awarded bonus points for remaining time and energy. After you defeat both opponents in a country, you will take part in a bonus round. Here you will perform a karate chop on a pile of concrete slabs.

Street Fighter can be played alone or with a friend. In the two-player mode, player one is Ryu and player two is Ken. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
