DESCRIPTION

Steel Talons is a helicopter combat game where it is your job as pilot to destroy enemies in air-to-air fights as well as firing upon ground targets. On your control stick, there is a trigger for a 30 millimeter gun and a thumb button for firing missiles. The helicopter's targeting system has a "lock-on" feature for both the gun and the missiles. At your feet, there is a two-sided pedal to control the rudder of the chopper. Use the rudder control in tandem with the flight stick to make sharp turns and to pull off other maneuvers. The object of Steel Talons is destroy as many enemies and enemy bases as you can before your helicopter's fuel runs dry. Fuel is depleted whenever you are hit by enemy fire. Once the helicopter's fuel is completely empty, the vehicle crashes and the game is over. Steel Talons features solo play or two-player tandem play on a split screen.
