DESCRIPTION

Steel Horizon is a Naval combat simulation set during World War II, the first of its kind on Nintendo DS. Players set sail as an American captain in charge of winning the war by deploying battleships, destroyers, submarines, and aircraft carriers against enemy fleets in the Atlantic and Pacific. The storyline explores an alternate history timeline, one that find the war orchestrated by an unknown faction armed with futuristic units. The game's story mode spans 20 missions enhanced with 3D graphics and a dynamic camera system for a cinematic effect. As in the DS strategy game Advance Wars: Dual Strike, movement is carried out in a turn-based format. Battles, however, take place in real-time.
