DESCRIPTION

Starflight II: Trade Routes of the Cloud Nebula, is the sequel to the award winning Starflight. Starflight II includes many enhancements over the original game, but leaves the core gameplay intact. There are new races to deal with, new technologies, and new adventures to be had.

In the game, the Spemin, a cowardly gelatinous race from the first game, have acquired devastating technology, and are running rampant throughout the cosmos. It's up to you and your crew to find out how such lowly creatures got their hands on such sophisticated technology, and then put a stop to them. Once the Spemin have been neutralized, you must make sure that others don't follow the same path.

The game now has a fully developed trading system, which is essential to winning the game. Artifacts, tradable goods, fuel, and other goods need to be acquired from trading posts on developed planets. This won't be as easy as it sounds, as many races will want an item traded from another race in order to get that nice artifact you've had your eye on. This leads to a lot of trade and diplomacy among races, and only the correct choices will bear fruit.
