DESCRIPTION

The Starcraft Expansion Set: Brood War contains six new units, twenty six new scenarios for all three races, Terran, Zerg and Protoss, and a new storyline concerning an ex-Ghost named Sarah Kerrigan who was kidnapped by the Zerg and mutated into the very alien looking Queen of Blades.

The storyline follows the new Queen of Blades attempts to take over the destiny of the Zerg race by killing the Overmind and assuming control.

In addition to the normal units of the three races, players get to take control of Medics and Valkyrie Bombers for the Terrans, Dark Archons and Corsair air fighters for the Protoss, and Lurker and Devourer units for the Zergs. Players can also take control of unique units, such as the Queen of Blades herself.

This game is an addon to the original game of Starcraft and therefore must be played with the original game already installed. Included in the box set is a jewel-case sized manual detailing the new units and heroes, as well as another card detailing the evolution of buildings among the three races and the requirements needed to build various units. ~ Lisa Karen Savignano, All Game Guide
