This time I am not going to go into much detail over the story, but rather about the competitive gaming.

As you already know, you have choice between three factions: Terran, Zerg and Protoss. Each with their own unique abilities, strategies, and of course units.

The Terran is the humans of this game. They have high tech technology that allows them to deploy siege tanks with extreme range and damage, and they have so major healing capabilities. They are considered to very versatile, and also my pick of race when I play the game.

Zerg is the fast paced race, or rushers if you would like to put it that way. Their units health wise are a lot weaker than Terran and Protoss, but they are a lot cheaper, and it means nothing to quickly build a Zerg army from scratch... provided that you have enough hatcheries, and resource growth is quite high.

Protoss is the powerhouse of the game. Their units are incredibly durable, as they have shields, armor, and high health. The major problem with the Protoss, they are extremely expensive, but with a combined army of Dragoon, and Zealots, their isn't a lot that can stand in your way.

There is no such things as the most powerful race. It all depends on who is playing, and what race do you prefer.

We are headed to 2012, and still this game is being played on tournaments, and almost everyday online. The most players that I encountered on this game are Protoss players, but that is their choice, I prefer Terran.

The Koreans can't seem to get enough of this game, so i wouldn't recommend facing a Korean when it comes to this game, they will dominate your a s s. But then again, it is fun to learn some new things from these guys... it will better your chances once you move into your own online battle.

This game improved the RTS online gaming world, and since the new Starcraft II came out, things only have gotten better. One would think that this game would die because of it's successor... ha, think again, take a look for yourself if you don't believe me. This game is still going, and will be going for a very long while.”
