DESCRIPTION

Star Wars for the Game Gear loosely follows the storyline of the movie. Begin the game as Princess Leia in her search for R2-D2. After Leia gives the droid the plans to the Death Star, you then play as Luke Skywalker. Each level has a character that is set in the storyline, but you are eventually allowed to switch between them once they meet.

Playable characters include Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker and Han Solo. Meanwhile, three other characters (C-3PO, R2-D2 and Obi-Wan Kenobi) give you helpful messages throughout the game. Enemies that they will encounter through their adventure include Jawas, Tusken Raiders, Greedos, blue aliens, Bounty Hunters and Stormtroopers.

Players will have to run and jump their way through most of the adventure while blasting the bad guys. However, a few levels do allow you to control vehicles on your way to destroying theDeath Star. ~ Jonathan Sutyak, All Game Guide
