DESCRIPTION
The Star Wars universe erupts into the 3D-fighting genre with Star Wars: Masters of Teräs Käsi. As part of his plan to crush the Rebel Alliance, Darth Vader has called upon Arden Lyn, a master of the fighting style known as teräs käsi. Her mission: destroy Luke Skywalker and his friends in a tournament-style competition spanning nine settings taken straight from the original trilogy of Star Wars films.
Fighting in the name of the Rebel Alliance are Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca and Princess Leia Organa. Meanwhile, the forces of evil include a Tusken Raider, a pig-faced Gamorrean, bounty hunter Boba Fett and Arden Lyn herself. The Dark Lord of the Sith might even present himself should he deem the situation worthy (and you can bet that he will).
In addition to the eight playable characters, there are also several who can be unlocked via unique methods. These include Mara Jade (from the Star Wars books and Mysteries of the Sith), Darth Vader, slave Leia, a Stormtrooper and a Mandalore named Jodo Kast. (See "Codes/Cheats" above to learn how to access each.)
All characters fight with punches, kicks and the weapons with which they are most often associated. For example, Luke might wield his lightsaber against the gaffi stick of the Tusken Raider, while Chewbacca's bowcaster could face the BlasTech rifle of Boba Fett. Even secret Force techniques can be unlocked, so that the Force can actually be with you. ~ Christopher Michael Baker, All Game Guide

“It's fun to pit Star Wars characters against each other and beat up Chewbacca. The fighting mechanics are pretty good, but there's not too much depth, and the content dries up fast. Simplistic compared to other fighting games, but still good fun.”
