DESCRIPTION
The highly anticipated follow-up to Star Wars: Dark Forces, Star Wars: Jedi Knight — Dark Forces II once again places you in the role of Kyle Katarn as he quests to become a Jedi Knight. Through each of the 21 mission-based levels, you'll battle new enemies as you fight your way to a Dark Jedi named Jerec who aims to gain the power of the Valley of the Jedi. As you progress, you'll learn to use the Force as your ally and must eventually make an important decision: do you adopt the powers of the light side or follow the quick and easy path to power as an agent of evil? Your fate is in your own hands.
Throughout your adventure, you'll acquire up to ten weapons and learn eight of 12 possible Force powers. The abilities of speed, jumping, pulling weapons from enemies and determining where your enemies lie are available to all, but the other eight depend upon whether you choose the light side or the dark. Followers of light can heal themselves, use the Jedi mind trick, blind evil beings and absorb the strength of others. The dark side, however, allows you to utilize the Force throw, choke an enemy from a distance, shoot lightning bolts and even destroy every enemy onscreen!
The story of Jedi Knight is told via actual actors in full-motion video cut-scenes between missions. There are two possible outcomes, each depending on which ultimate destiny you choose. An agent of good will aim to defend the Valley of the Jedi from Jerec, while choosing the dark path means fighting him over its limitless power.
When you wish to take a break from the story, you can test your skills against up to seven other Force-proficient beings over the Internet for multi-player action. To get started, you must customize your warrior by choosing from a variety of lightsaber colors and assuming one of many types of identities, ranging from Tusken Raiders to protocol droids like C-3PO. You also earn rank as you gain experience so that your competition remains at your relative ability. ~ Christopher Michael Baker, All Game Guide

“Pretty much full price. My wife managed to snag Borderlands for $44 at Target shortly after Thanksgiving. She had to buy Assassin's Creed II twice because she accidentally ordered the 360 version the first time. Whoops. For some reason though, she wasn't amused by my solution of "we could just go buy a 360." Ah well, c'est la vie.”

“I got Assassin's Creed II, and Dragon Ball Raging Blast. ACII was a lot better than I expected (I was a bt unsure if it would be good or not, but it's excellent), and DBRB is pretty tough at times but it's going to keep me busy for a long time! Oh, I also got a copy of Megaman Zero (GBA) - which I haven't played much of yet - and I bought Ninja Gaiden Sigma II with some Christmas money, but that's in the pipeline til I'm bored (I've already got and completed NGII).”

“Yeah didn't realize I had to install Media Go, it's there. I will definitely buy this, as it will bring back good memories and as you said earthbound $10 is a steal for the price the game is running at used nowadays.”

“I finally got enough money to get the Fallout GotY edition and the store where the bulk of my gift cards were designated didn't have it. So instead I picked up the Pitt and OA expansion disc and got a copy of the game used for less than twenty bucks. This game is so great, can't wait for NEW VEGAS.”

“@SDxBrandimus nope just the original FF 7 tis a total nostalgic buzz.. the music, the great graphics for thier time are still on par with the ds tho.. The story is still one of the best with alot of perverse humour not found in the rest of the series.. Cloud dresses up as a girl to save tifa from a brothel?! Absolute classic! ^_^”

The bills and debts and what not, that I rack up in Swik really do not hit me until June the following year.
Which, to be fully honest, I would prefer to be broke in June than in January.
Somehow I suspect in doing so I have two major effects:
1) Supporting the economy better during what typically is a slump (January, February and March)
2) Getting some typically better (well better balanced) prices during those months due to lack of people shopping due to the effects of the Holiday season.
I mean, yes, the sales are over--but typically sales tend to only apply to certain items--anything not on sale tends to be over priced, compared to the rest of the year.”

“The games I got were dirt cheap, but it is just finding the time to play them and keep up with the new titles. It is too much. Even if I had the money, I doubt I would be able to find the time to play them all.”
