DESCRIPTION

Upon returning to the Dragon Realms, Spyro finds that his homeland is in ruins, and all his friends and neighbors are gone — banished to a place called the Shadow Realms. The little purple hero must embark on a long journey, full of many enemies and tricky challenges, to free his friends and return the land to its former glory. Making use of the handheld's distinct features, the Spyro: Shadow Legacy allows players to cast spells by drawing gestures on the touch screen, and to trade collectable pets through a wireless connection to another Shadow Legacy player. The game is played mostly from an isometric perspective, as in Spyro's GBA adventures, but smooth 3D graphics and sophisticated visual effects enhance the dragon's DS debut. ~ T.J.
