DESCRIPTION
Straight out of MAD Magazine comes White Spy and Black Spy in Spy vs. Spy III: Arctic Antics. As usual, the spies are setting traps in an attempt to eliminate the other. However, eliminating the enemy will not win you the game. In order to win, one of the spies must escape from the arctic island before a blizzard strikes.
There are seven island shapes to select from before the start of the game. Larger islands provide longer time limits and smaller islands contain shorter time limits. Other choices that must be made are the difficulty level if you are playing against a computer opponent and whether the rocket launch site should be hidden or not.
For a spy to escape the island they must find the Launch Briefcase and fill it with three items: the Punch Card, Gyroscope, and Fuel Canister. When a spy has all of the items in the briefcase they must then find the rocket launch site and blast-off.
While searching for the items the spies can set traps using saws, ice picks, water buckets, and dynamite. Other natural obstacles that should be avoided include thin ice, deep snow, and icy water. When on the screen at the same time the spies can throw snowballs at one another. Even if an enemy is eliminated, the other player can still be killed by the natural obstacles or the traps remaining from the other spy. ~ Jonathan Sutyak, All Game Guide
