DESCRIPTION

SpongeBob's Atlantis SquarePantis: Atlantis Treasures is a falling block-style puzzle game featuring characters and settings from the feature-length Nickelodeon cartoon. The game plays similarly to Sega's Columns, if the 2D game board were wrapped vertically around a cylinder. Three colored orbs, in an up-and-down column, fall from the top of the screen and land upon a pillar, which has slots for a total of ten stacks of orbs all the way around its base. Players can rotate the pillar and adjust the order of the colored orbs in each falling set. When three orbs of the same color align on the pillar, they disappear and points are awarded. The goal of the game is to remove as many orbs as possible, keeping them from stacking up to the top of the screen. Variations on this basic gameplay, featuring column-clearing power-ups and special themed objectives, are available in the Weapons Room, Science Room, and Art Room modes. The game's main Story mode finds SpongeBob and his friends trying to unlock the secrets of the legendary city of Atlantis, revealing each character's special, secret wish. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide
