DESCRIPTION

Speed Busters: American Highways from Ubi Soft is a driving game that's designed to be easy to grasp and fun to play. You choose your vehicle from a selection of cars. You can modify your car by buying a new engine or installing accessories such as spoilers. Then its time to race over six different tracks (plus a "hidden" seventh level), all with variable weather conditions.

There are four modes of play in this game: Arcade (for instant single-player action), Championship (to race on all six tracks), Multiplayer (to compete over a network), and On-Line (to play over the Internet).

Each race has cash prizes, the values of which depend on where you finish at the checkered flag. The player can use the cash amassed to improve the car, buy a new one, or just repair damage caused in the previous races. But beware while driving. You may come across the odd dinosaur crossing the road, or the occasional water-propelled manhole cover whooshing upwards towards you. ~ Nick Smith, All Game Guide
