DESCRIPTION

Space Jam is a NBA Jam basket-brawler based on the closely named NBA Jam series that has dominated the more arcade-style of basketball titles since 1993.

Based on the popular cartoon-based movie featuring NBA great Michael Jordan, the story tells of the Looney Tunes fight against Intergalactic intruders who captured the abilities of NBA Players. Now it is up to the Looney Tunes gang to get back their powers, and the only way possible is to beat them in a game of basketball. However if they lose, Michael Jordan will also suffer a fate similar to that of his NBA colleagues.

Space Jam features a selection of 17 characters from Michael Jordan himself to some of your Loony Tune favorites such as Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Daffy Duck, Pepe le Pew as well as the five Monstars specially created for the movie. The actual gameplay offers one-on-one, two-on-two, and three-on-three play. Mini-games in between quarters break up the action nicely and allow gamers to earn new abilities. These sub-games can be turned off but if so it can dramatically shorten your chances of beating your intergalactic competition.
