Supervised by Tomohiro Nishikado, designer of the 1978 blockbuster sci-fi arcade game, Space Invaders Revolution continues the alien armada annihilation with 60 levels of classic shooting action spanning 20 international locales. Players can use either the directional pad or stylus to slide their ground cannon to the left and right as advancing waves of aliens shuffle down the screen. Once the aliens have been eliminated, play continues at a faster pace until the final confrontation with the creatures' mother ship on the moon. New wrinkles on the traditional play include six collectible power-ups that offer shields, rapid-fire shots, laser beams that penetrate entire columns, support craft, and more.
