DESCRIPTION

Armed with the same laser blaster that made you victorious in Space Harrier, Space Harrier II puts you in the role of the (you guessed it) Space Harrier. In the world of Fantasy Land an evil being by the name of Dark Harrier has taken control and imposed a cruel tyranny. Space phantoms, multi-headed reptiles, wicked wizards and other creatures are wreaking havoc and destruction. You are Fantasy Land's only hope.

As you run and fly (forward) through the 12 levels of play, you must blast every creature in sight while avoiding making contact with obstacles (such as columns and trees), enemies and enemy fire. After defeating each guardian monster at the end of each level, you go on to the ultimate level to face Dark Harrier. Level bosses (guardians) include Medusa, Three Headed Tortoise and Rock-face.
