DESCRIPTION

Space Armada is basically a colorful version of Space Invaders for the Intellivision. Move your laser gun right and left along the bottom of the screen while shooting at rows of descending alien invaders. There are bunkers to hide behind (until they get shot apart) and the occasional bonus ship flying across the top of the playfield. Unfortunately, Space Armada is not as fun as Space Invaders in that the action is sluggish, the aliens begin too close to the ground, and there's nothing really new added to the formula. Sure, there are invisible invaders, but the Atari VCS version of Space Invaders had them first. ~ Jonathan Sutyak, All Game Guide
